Our best-selling classic sticker material.
If you've ever wondered what happens when traditional tattoo culture collides with Cartoon Network, weird illustration, and a healthy obsession with tigers, dragons, and dogs, you're looking at it.
Awkward Aron's work lives somewhere between classic tattoo flash and playful character design, filled with goofy creatures, bold linework, and the kind of charm that makes you smile before you even realize why.

Drawing for as long as he can remember, Aron turned a lifelong habit of doodling through class into a career that spans tattooing, illustration, stickers, merch, and character design. What started as drawing characters in notebooks eventually ended up as a " whoopsie" permanent body paint career.
But behind the tattoos and the humor is an artist driven by connection, curiosity, and a dream that's bigger than art itself: creating spaces where people can make things together, share ideas, rebuild real-world connections, and maybe hang out with a lot more dogs.
For July's Thank You card, Aron brought together a cast of his favorite characters, connected by a wizard's spell and finished with Pixie Dust effects for a little extra magic. The result is a sticker sheet that feels like its own tiny universe, packed with positive vibes, weird creatures, and full-on Awkward Aron.

StickerApp: Hello, Aron, and congrats on being our July Artist of the Month. Tell us about yourself: Who is Awkward Aron? And why are you awkward?
Aron: I’m just a chill tattoo guy from Hungary who loves tigers, dragons, dogs, and needs to touch some more grass. My biggest dream is to create a space where people can create, do & talk about art while rebuilding our weak-ass social connections. Also, to have a bunch of dogs on a farm.
Tattooing helped a lot with my social skills, and I'm happy to say I'm not always awkward nowadays.
StickerApp: Haha, noted. When, and how, did your creative journey begin?
Aron: While my parents were getting a divorce. Jokes aside, I'm not sure. What I do know is that I've been drawing my whole life. Instead of taking notes in school, I was just dribbling away, and I kept at it. So I became an artist cuz I obviously didn’t learn anything else.
StickerApp: Hear, hear. Is there a pivotal moment in your career that changed your course of action?
Aron: When I learned that I could make a living with art by doing tattoos. I never expected that I could keep drawing weird characters as an actual job, and when I realised it was a possibility, I started to explore all the ways of the tattoo technique. My style began to change with all the new techniques that I learned within the industry.
StickerApp: What drives you as an artist, and what advice would you give to new artists?
Aron: My inner self-critic that says I'm never good enough? Yes, I am aware that these answers are self-deprecating, but that can be funny too, right? RIGHT? But other than that, my biggest inspirations are the illustrators who cross the boundaries of tattooing and come up with new ways of saying nothing matters and everything will be okay.
As cliché as it sounds, Nike has the answer. Just do it. There’s no one right way. There might be tricks and tips to help you learn from other people's experiences, and by all means, stand on their shoulders, but in the end, what matters is how much you actually do and learn from your own failures and triumphs. Perfection is your enemy. Don’t wait for the perfect conditions to start. And don’t let perfect stand in the way of good! Hit me up if you need more from the cliché collection!
StickerApp: *Ring ring. So, how would you define your style?
Aron: I would say it’s somewhere between goofy adventure time-esque illustration and traditional ideas, like skulls, tigers, and dragons. People tell me my stuff looks like certain cartoons, shows, or comics. I grew up on these, so it’s not a surprise (nor an insult). My favourite technique is pencil on paper. Just give me a good old 2H rOtring and any 200-250g paper, and I'll be good to go for days. As for the final results, I digitalise it using Procreate and, of course some ink and a tattoo machine.

StickerApp: Amazing! Tell us about the design of your July Thank You card: What inspired you?
Aron: I wanted to make a sheet that would work as a whole and not just a separate designs floating around. So I drew my favourite type of characters and a wizard tying them together with a spell. I did not account for the borders properly, so the layout is a bit different from what I had in mind, but I think it looks dope. I chose Pixie Dust, cuz I think it fits the spells the most! I also added some thumbs up to give positive vibes. Go do some magic, fools!
StickerApp: What are your favorite sticker materials, and why do you choose StickerApp as your sticker partner?
Aron: I like a good "no effect" matte; it always gives that intentional, but not-trying-hard, fancy look. For this Thank You card, I chose Pixie Dust, but I'm very much into holo. Never gets old. My dream is to make a sample pack where I get to use all the materials with different dog illustrations.
I've tried my fair share of sticker providers, but StickerApp has the best quality out there (so far hehe).
StickerApp: Agreed! Lastly, what are your goals for the future?
Aron: Tattooing is not as flourishing as it used to be (at least for me), so I’m thinking of doing more freelance illustrations. But in the long run, I wanna own a dog hostel!
