Sticker sheet ideas for brands and artists
Sticker sheets are a bit like a box of chocolates. Everyone has a favourite, someone always saves the best one for last, and somehow the whole thing disappears a lot faster than you'd think.
They're also one of the easiest ways to turn a bunch of designs into one product, for your brand or for your art shop. The only question is what to put on yours.
TL;DR:
What should I put on a custom sticker sheet?
A set of designs that belong together, like your logo and mascot, a character collection, a seasonal theme or merch for your shop. Each sticker is kiss-cut, so the designs, shapes and sizes can all be different.
How do you design a sticker sheet?
Pick one theme and one material (every sticker on the sheet shares it), mix one or two bigger designs with smaller ones and keep at least 2 mm between stickers. Sheets go up to 27.5 cm (10.8 in).
Are sticker sheets good for businesses?
Definitely. They work as thank-you cards in orders, giveaways at events and merch bundles, and with back paper print you can add your logo or a QR code on the back.
A whole collection on one sheet
A sticker sheet is basically a collection of different stickers on one backing. Each sticker is kiss-cut, so you can peel them off one at a time while the rest of the sheet stays in one piece. The designs, shapes and sizes can all be different, as long as they share the same material.
That's what makes sheets so fun to plan. Instead of choosing one design, you get to tell a little story. Honestly, I think the best sheets always start with a theme, and once you've got that, the stickers kind of pick themselves.

Sticker sheet ideas for brands
If you run a brand, a sticker sheet is a small piece of your world that people get to take home (and actually use). Here are three ideas I'd start with.

A freebie
Slipping a sticker sheet into every order is such an easy way to make unboxing a bit more fun. Fill it with your logo, your mascot or a few of your products drawn as stickers, then add a thank-you note on the back with back paper print. Now that's a thank-you card people keep.

A sheet for the team
Every office has its inside jokes, so why not turn them into stickers? Phrases like "Out of Office", "We Are Hiring" or "Employee of the Month" next to your logo give the team something fun for their laptops. Hand them out at the next team day and see how fast they disappear.

A handout
At fairs and events, a sticker sheet gives people a whole little collection instead of one single freebie, and it fits in any tote bag. A holographic sheet catches the light every time someone walks past, which is hard to ignore. Keep a stack on the table and let people help themselves.
Sticker sheet ideas for artists
If you sell your art, sheets are a lovely way to turn a bunch of small drawings into one product. These are three ideas I'd love to see more of.

A cast of characters
Got a few characters you keep drawing over and over? Give them a sheet of their own. Put your favourite in the middle, let the rest of the gang fill in around it, and you've got a little crew people can peel off one by one. The Creative Pain's Friend Club sheet is a great example.

A seasonal drop
Spring, Halloween, Valentine's Day... a small seasonal sheet is a fun way to have something new in your shop a few times a year. Keep your usual style and swap in the details of the season, like this "Spring Mood" sheet with raindrops and pink characters on holographic. So cute.

Flash sheets
Tattoo artists, this one's for you. A sheet of your flash designs lets people take a piece of your style home before they book (or instead of booking, we totally get it). White linework on a black background looks really sharp, just have a look at Broderson's flash sheet.
A few tips before you start designing
Before you start placing stickers, here are a few things that'll make your sheet look a lot more put together.
-
Use the whole sheet: In our editor you can add a background, text or images behind your stickers, so the sheet feels like one design.
-
Give every sticker a little room: Keep at least 2 mm between stickers and to the edge of the sheet. You'll find the rest in our layout requirements.
-
One sheet, one material: All stickers on a sheet share the same material and finish, so pick one that suits the whole collection.

Time to fill your sheet
There's really no wrong way to do a sticker sheet. Some people go all in with a full collection and a custom background, while others keep it simple with a few favourites and their logo. Both work.
If you'd rather repeat the same design across the whole sheet, singles on sheet might be more your thing. Otherwise, pick a theme, choose your material and start placing. The hardest part is deciding which stickers make the cut.
